1. Information We Collect

We collect as little as possible. Our standard free APIs require no signup, no account, and no personal information. You can use them freely and privately.

For DriveUp, our Google Drive management service, we store only the minimum needed to keep you signed in and to run the operations you ask for: your email address as your account identifier, and a securely encrypted authorization token so DriveUp can act on your behalf when you request it. That's it.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information for one thing only: to provide the service you asked for. We never sell it, never rent it, never share it with advertisers, and never use it for marketing or profiling.

For DriveUp, your email simply identifies your account, and your encrypted token is used solely to complete the Google Drive operations you personally start. Nothing more.

3. Cookies

We use only essential, privacy-friendly storage such as your theme preference (dark/light mode), kept locally in your own browser. No tracking cookies. No advertising cookies. No cross-site profiling.

The DriveUp dashboard keeps your session token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. This stays on your device and is never sent to any analytics or advertising service.

4. Third-Party Services

Some APIs (video downloader, manga, novels) fetch content from public third-party platforms so you can access it. Anything you submit is used only to complete your request in real time.

DriveUp communicates only with the official Google Drive API on your behalf. No other third party ever receives your Google data, and we use no third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the DriveUp dashboard.

5. Data Security

All traffic is served over encrypted HTTPS. Everything is designed around keeping your data private and safe by default.

For DriveUp, your Google authorization token is encrypted at rest using strong AES-256-CBC encryption, with encryption keys stored separately from the database. Your actual Drive file content never reaches our servers or storage at all. Access to our systems is locked down with IP allowlisting and authentication.

6. DriveUp — Google Drive Integration

DriveUp is a Google Drive file management tool available at ahm7xmakki.com/driveup. It lets you copy, rename, organise, and inspect your own Google Drive files through a simple dashboard and REST API. Here is exactly how your data stays safe.

Your Google Drive files never leave your account. DriveUp never downloads, reads, copies, or stores the content of your files on our servers. Every action runs securely through Google's own systems, only when you ask for it, and only for you. You stay in full control at all times, and you can disconnect in one click whenever you like.

What DriveUp does with your Drive

DriveUp only performs the exact operation you request, and always through Google's secure API. Your files are never copied to us. The features are:

Copy files and folders — creates a copy inside your own Drive using Google's server-side copy. No file content is ever sent to our servers.
Rename files and folders — updates names by appending a tag you choose. File content is never opened or read.
Add tag to files and folders — appends a custom label to file and folder names you select. Content stays untouched.
Inject a file into subfolders — copies one file you designate into subfolders you choose. Only that one file is used; nothing else is read.
Check folder size — reads only basic metadata (name, size, type) to total it up. No file content is downloaded or stored.

How your Drive data is handled

Your Drive data is used purely to complete the action you started, in real time, and then it's gone from memory. We never scan it, index it, analyse it, train any AI on it, or keep it. No file content ever touches our database or storage — not even for a second.

Who can see your Drive data

Only you. Your Drive is accessed exclusively through your own secure session. No other users, no staff, and no third parties can ever view your files or folders. Your requests run in isolated, private background tasks that keep your data yours alone.

You're always in control — revoke anytime

You can disconnect DriveUp from your Google Drive whenever you want in one click, at myaccount.google.com/permissions — just find DriveUp / AHM7xMakki and choose Remove Access. The moment you do, DriveUp loses all access instantly and your token becomes useless. Total peace of mind, always in your hands.

7. Google API Services & Limited Use Policy

✅ DriveUp's use of Google API Services complies fully with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google user data to provide the features described here, and never for advertising or resale.

In line with Google's Limited Use Policy, DriveUp:

Requests only the minimum Google Drive access needed for the features you use.
Never uses Google user data to build, improve, or train AI or machine-learning models.
Never transfers Google user data to third parties, except to the Google Drive API itself to carry out your request.
Never uses Google user data for advertising, and never lets anyone read your Drive data unless you personally ask for support and grant permission.
Uses Google user data only for the purposes clearly described in this privacy policy.

Google Drive API scopes used:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.metadata.readonly

The drive scope lets DriveUp copy, rename, and create files in your Drive when you ask. The drive.metadata.readonly scope reads only file names, sizes, and types when calculating folder statistics. These are the minimum scopes required — nothing broader is ever requested.

8. Data Retention

Drive file content — never stored. There is simply nothing to retain.
DriveUp authorization token — kept securely encrypted only while your account is connected. It's erased the moment you delete your account or revoke access via Google.
DriveUp email address — kept only while your account is active, and deleted on request.

You can ask us to delete everything associated with your account at any time, and we'll take care of it.

9. Your Rights

You are always in control. You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the little data we hold about you.
Deletion — request full deletion of your DriveUp account and everything tied to it, including your token and email.
Revocation — disconnect DriveUp's Google Drive access anytime via myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Correction — ask us to correct any detail that's inaccurate.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy as we add new services or as legal requirements change. If we ever make a material change to how we handle Google user data, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and notify active DriveUp users by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
